Sunday October 31, 2010:
I went to play practice. Went over my dance steps and helped a few kids out with lines. Went over my solo number and my duet.
Wednesday November 3, 2010:
Today i went to the play practice for the Rising Starrs branch (grades 2-6) of Young Starrs Theater Company. Helped Mrs. Pezola with directing and worked backstage. Helps the kids with dances and lines. Worked with make-up and with the boys in the dressing room.
Thursday November 4, 2010:
Today i went to play practice with Rising Starrs again. Helped with stage setup. Assisted Mrs. Pezola with directing and stage notes. Helped again with make-up and backstage with the kids.
Friday November 5, 2010:
The day of the Rising Starr's show. Before the show i stayed backstage for most of the time and helped with make-up. During the show i was apart of stage crew and helped the boys get ready for upcoming scenes. The show was an overall success
Sunday November 7, 2010:
Had play practiced for A Chorus Line. This week starts "hell week", aka the week before the show. This week we will have practice everyday, not including Tuesday and Thursday, until the opening of the show on Friday. Today was our first day at the Temple Ambler Stage where we will perform. This was a dress rehearsal so we ran the whole show. There was some conflict with lines and dance steps. Hopefully we can work on that as the week goes on
Monday November 8, 2010:
Second day of hell week. Tonight we ran the whole show again with costumes.
Wednesday November 10, 2010:
Third day of hell week. Before we ran the show, we ran the finale because it needed some minor alterations. We fixed what needed to be fixed and then went on running the show.
Friday November 12, 2010:
Opening night. When i got to the theater, i immediately went to the back and put on my make up and costume. Then i went out onto the stage to join the rest of the cast. Mrs. P gathered us together to run the finale again with the alterations made on Wednesday. Everything ran smoothly. Then we got in a circle and she said a few words for the cast. We all held hands in the circle. Mrs. P then announce the summer musical, Rent. When we all heard what it was. we screamed and got very excited. Then after that, we all went back stage until the show started at 7:30. After the show we all got undressed and put our costumes in the bag for the next performance. Then we went to T.G.I Fridays to eat.

Day 2 of performance. We did the same routine as the night before. We got together and ran the finale and got in the circle again. It's tradition that we get in the circle before every show. We call it the "safe circle". We waited backstage for the performance to start. When it was over, we all went to Friendly's.
Sunday November 14, 2010
Closing night of A Chorus Line. Tonight everyhting got a little bit emotional before the final performance. We all gathered and did safe circle. When tjhe show started, the energy was great. A few of us added some spice to the show with a few improvisations.
